Toledo, In Sargent's Footstaps

Plein air. Following in the footsteps of John Singer Sargent, I painted this classic view of Toledo’s Puente de San Martin on a blisteringly hot day in late May. Both he and Sorolla painted the same bridge over 100 years earlier.
