The place I’ve painted plein air more than anywhere else in Spain, the wonderful, wild, sprawling Casa de Campo park to the North-West of Madrid. I’m enamoured with it’s winding pathways and warm ochre colours in summer, when the heat takes over, burning the last of the green grass away until autumn.
